Description
The water and sewage operations are part of the Technical Department along with the property unit and the street unit. Together, we take care of parks and green areas, water and sewage treatment plants, water pipes, roads and streets, private roads, municipal properties, urban forests, and recreational areas.

We are a total of 32 employees who are committed to creating good days for our citizens. We care about a good and safe working environment.

We are now looking for 1 operations technician on a temporary contract for our team that works with the operation and maintenance of waterworks, treatment plants, and pumping stations in Kil Municipality.

The water and sewage industry is in an expansive phase with many new guidelines, new technology, and new methods in the production process. If you are the one we are looking for, we commit to providing you with an exciting and varied job with friendly colleagues.

Job Responsibilities
As an operations technician here at the waterworks, you will maintain and develop our waterworks, sewage treatment plants, and pumping stations. You will be part of a work team responsible for operation, supervision, repair, and maintenance work. The job responsibilities also include operational monitoring and documentation of the facilities' functions as a natural part.

To ensure operations, your ability to assess and perform preventive maintenance, analyze the alarms from the operational monitoring system, and carefully manage the facilities is needed. You should also enjoy documentation and be prepared for routine administration to be an important part of what we do during working days.

The job also includes working with chemicals, which means you are expected to be meticulous, responsible, and able to organize your work well.

We need your ideas, practical knowledge, and your way of working in our team.

The position includes on-call duty.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience in operation and maintenance work of water and sewage processes, through education or work experience.

Several years of professional experience in operation and maintenance work or knowledge of water and sewage processes is a requirement.

Your interest and commitment to the technical sector are clearly evident, as is your willingness and curiosity to learn new things. You have good computer skills in general.

In this role, it is important to be able to work independently and in a team and to communicate clearly. As a person, you find it easy to collaborate, and you are responsive, goal-oriented, and results-oriented.

Conditions
In your position, you will work with classified information.

This means that you must be a Swedish citizen and that a security clearance and background check will be conducted in connection with employment.

The position may also include similar tasks in Forshaga Municipality.
